No you get more war assets for saving the councilForever224 (talk)

  • Actually, the decider is whether you're able to save the salarian Councilor from getting offed by Kai Leng or not. If you can't, sacrificing the Council actually gives you a net gain of 5 points, while saving the Council is a net loss of 5 points. If Kai Leng doesn't kill the Councilor, you get a War Asset worth 70 points from Esheel (the new Councilor) or one worth 125 points from Valern (the old Councilor) that can then be increased to 133 by completing a certain side mission. In that case, you're looking at a 75-point gain for sacrificing the Council or a 128-point gain for saving it. Terminator-HIX
