Has the planet in ME3's ending been identified in any official statements?

Nope

Let's just hope it really isn't 2175_Aeia, with whom it seems to share a resemblance.

  • I don't think it can be 2175 Aeia, cause that is onthe other side of the Galaxy. Anish (talk)

^It would also be unnessecary to shoehorn a planet that we know already. The galaxy is big and may planets have two moons and some of them might be garden worlds. LeoJo (talk)

Even if it does, how does it matter? In all non retard runs, the Normandy is shown flying off or being repaired. They would have enough provisions to last a short while. Anish (talk)

I've heard some talk that it could be Zorya, where Zaeed's loyalty mission takes place, but I was hoping someone might have more definite information from a reliable source. Niquorebel Cousland (talk)

It depends on the speed at which the Normandy was traveling at the time. If she was using a Mass Relay, it could be anywhere (probably one of those mentioned above). If the Normandy was traveling at "normal" FTL-speeds, my money is on a planet in the Alpha Centauri System, simply because it is (relatively speaking) the "closest" system to Sol and becuase a CDN story mentioned a Garden World being discovered in this system. I've always thought that it might be Sur'Kesh, but that's just spitballing based on it being jungle covered. It could be any of the other places mentioned or some planet we've never heard of. We really have no idea. Luper567 (talk)
