I think that it would be randomized every time. Doesn't matter for me though, I kept EVERYONE alive. K1LLERAnish 13:03, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
It would kill off Wrex and either Ashley/Kaidan (character gender related) otherwise from ME2 it will as said above most likely be random.
If I had to guess, I'd say every squadmate who makes an appearance as a cameo or temporary squadmate if they're alive in ME3 (i.e. everyone except Garrus and Tali) will be considered dead in a non-import ME3 playthrough. Y'know, like most of the ME1 character cameos in ME2... 22.214.171.124 10:26, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
I don't think there will be any default decisions, because existence of interactive comic for every version was revealed. However, it might be changed to "free DLC" or even payable one. Or maybe, there will be an option to skip it...
First, who says that the comic will let you decide who stays alive?! Second, most likely not Garrus, he's been in all trailers so far. Other squadmates' roles are similar to Wrex's in ME2 - if they're dead, they will be replaced with an identical character. For example, Mordin will be easy to replace in his mission with the krogan princess - just put a less trusting salarian there, and it's done. Not the same as Mordin, but since the squadmates' roles will be so minor, BW can easily pull this off. Land Raider 10:08, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
WHAT? THEY GOT A COMIC!?!?!? K1LLERAnish 11:21, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
^ Genesis-style, yes. Is that news for you? Land Raider 11:31, November 5, 2011 (UTC)

^ Maelon can be easily killed in ME2. Land Raider 12:33, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
